grow organically

Growing organically is based on awareness that everything is connected and everything is in a relationship with everything else.

Philosophy

OUR PHILOSOPHY IS TO SOW SEEDS FOR TOMORROW, TO CREATE AN ATMOSPHERE THAT HOSTS GROWTH AND WELLNESS BOTH PHYSICALLY AND SPIRITUALLY. WE DO THIS BY CREATING A SUSTAINABLE HABITAT FOR OUR VEGETABLE GARDENS AND GREENHOUSES. WE PARTNER WITH LIKE-MINDED ORGANIZATIONS AND COMMUNITIES ALONG WITH BEING A PARTNER OF COMMUNITY SUPPORT AGRICULTURE (CSA). ADDITIONALLY, WE TEACH AND EDUCATE THE VALUES OF OUR PROCESS TO GROUPS.

greenhouse / produce wash

Here at Jubilee Farms, we follow the Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) program. This is a set of guidelines that we follow which include requirements for how we handle and store the produce in order to ensure a safe product for our customers. Good employee hygiene, proper harvesting, washing, and proper storage are important parts of our process, so we can produce a safe, quality product.

chickens

We have over 50 laying hens which we collect eggs from for our CSA program. Our flock is comprised of multiple breeds which are not only known for their egg production, but they are also fun to look at! These include Golden Comets, Black Australorps, Barred Rock, Silver Laced Wyandottes, Brown Leghorns, Easter Eggers and Olive Eggers, along with some crossbreeds.
